FAQ's
Must I stop my chronic medication when starting with NAD+PHYTO?
No. Continue with chronic medication and as your condition improves, decrease other medication dosages with the assistance of your doctor.
Should I supplement with other vitamins when using NAD+PHYTO?
No other vitamins are needed. You can still supplement with Omega 3 and Omega 7 (coconut oil) as it helps with better absorption of NAD+, as well as magnesium and calcium.
NAD+Phyto contains 17 Vitamins / 10 Minerals / 19 Amino Acids / Antioxidants / 105 phyto nutrients / 49 Rainbow color vegetables & fruits / Active Ingredient - NAD molecule. The NAD molecule binds with the food components to transport the NAD straight into the cells, to bring sufficient energy to the cell to start the healing process.
Will NAD+PHYTO boost my Energy Levels?
Adenosine triphosphate, or ATP (Adenosine triphosphate), is commonly referred to as “molecular currency” because it is essentially the source of energy for our cells. ATP is the fuel that supports many processes within the body, including cellular respiration, replication of DNA, and muscle contractions. NAD+ Phyto aids the production of ATP within the body, which in turn boosts energy levels and reduces feelings of tiredness or exhaustion.
Will I lose weight with NAD+PHYTO?
The NAD+ coenzyme plays an important role in the human body’s metabolic process. When NAD+ Phyto is used in conjunction with a proper diet and regular exercise, it can help patients maintain a healthy weight. This can be particularly useful as patients age and metabolism naturally begins to slow down.
Will I gain weight with NAD+PHYTO?
NAD+Phyto cannot cause weight gain. The body is made more sensitive by the intake of healthy nutrients, so it will not look for food if it is saturated with healthy nutrients. NAD+ has a hand in regulating appetite, and by extension, even your weight. Slowed metabolism can lead to increased fat storage in the body. This too, is a result of a decreasing of NAD+. NAD+Phyoto is nothing but nutrition.
Will NAD+Phyto reverse the signs of aging?
Sirtuins can affect cognitive function, inflammation, and pain management. These deacetylases are dependent upon NAD+. One sirtuin in particular, SIR2p, also plays a role in the aging process and the overall healthspan of the body. NAD+ Phyto impacts the effectiveness of Sir2p, which can reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and reverse certain symptoms of aging.
Can NAD+PHYTO treat Covid-19?
NAD+ Phyto boost your immune system, assisting in the fight against any infections, supporting recovery.
Cases have been reported of NAD+ Phyto assisting in the recovery of Covid-19 patients. See full case report of one such patient (https://assets.researchsquare.com/files/rs-123044/v1_stamped.pdf) This case shows a favorable treatment outcome in a high risk patient that developed severe disease. Treatment was initiated early and hospitalization was done before laboratory markers reached critical levels.
Will NAD+PHYTO improve my brain function or clarity?
Sirtuins have the ability to improve cells’ resistance to stress and can slow the process of cognitive decline. NAD+ Phyto supplies sirtuins with the NAD+ coenzyme they require to
- Increase focus
- Boost Memory
- Improve Mental Clarity
- Improve concentration
- Improve mood
- Improve stamina
- Boost neurological function
- Facilitate brain regeneration
Will NAD+PHYTO reduce stress?
Healthy levels of NAD+ keeps you strong and resilient, especially in the face of stress.
Will NAD+Phyto help for Rheumatoid Arthritis?
The average NAD/NADH ratio tested in Rheumatoid arthritis is 37/63, the ideal is 50/50. NAD+Phyto can support pain relief for rheumatoid arthritis as well as support faster recovery from joint stiffness and fatigue
Is NAD+Phyto effective for gout?
Multiple lines of evidence suggest that mitochondrial dysfunction is a key element in the pathophysiology of gout. Mitochondrial dysfunction occurs due to a lack of NAD+
Will NAD+Phyto help my diabetes?
NAD+ activates a protein called Sirtuin 1 (SIRT1), which has been shown to promote healthy metabolism throughout the body. In people with Type 2 diabetes, the body’s NAD+ supplies are lower than normal, such that the molecule is spread too thin to carry out its biological duties effectively. SIRT1 levels, for example, plummet in the absence of NAD+.
I have diabetes, but my NAD levels are high enough. Do I still need to take NAD?
The reason why you should use NAD is precisely because of your diabetes condition and the body that needs to start repairing at a cellular level. Our bodies go into survival mode because certain functions have stopped working for years and are now suddenly awakened by the NAD.
The body’s energy functions begin to stabilize from the inside so that nutrition and foods etc. can be distributed properly and organ functions that have not worked for a long time can start functioning again. As stabilization happens, better functioning will kick in and NAD figures can vary drastically from high to low until stabilization occurs. It’s like a car’s dashboard lights that come on when you turn on the car. The lights can burn but the car is not running yet. Now the battery has to be powered first so that the engine can get power and then the car can start and then drive.
How long will it take before a person with diabetes’ sugar levels shows improvement?
In case of diabetes 1 it takes time. It probably has been years since the person’s pancreas converted and metabolized sugars sufficiently, causing many negative effects on the rest of the body. NAD+Phyto restores on cellular level. However, pancreatic cells do not renew after the age of 30. The purpose of all the nutrients will be to prevent further damage in the diabetes’ body.
May will NAD+ Phyto prevent the onset of certain Diseases?
While research is still ongoing and more studies are needed to fully understand the impact of the NAD+ coenzyme on various conditions, scientists have found a connection between this vital enzyme and several cardiovascular and metabolic diseases. Lowered levels of NAD+ have been linked to diabetes and fatty liver disease, among other conditions. (Have a look at https://nadphyto.com/the-perfect-nad-storm/)
Will NAD+ PHYTO help improve Athletic. Physical Performance?
Athletes and anyone looking to improve their physical performance will benefit from NAD+ Phyto’s ability to boost energy and cognitive function, as mentioned above. Having more energy and being able to think clearly is sure to improve reaction times and overall performance during training and competitions.
The NAD+ coenzyme plays a vital role in muscle development. NAD+ Phyto helps maintain muscle health by supplying your muscles with ample fuel during a workout and also repair them afterwards. NAD+ Phyto will not only enable you to build stronger muscles and increase muscle mass, but also to recover more effectively after a workout.
Will NAD+ PHYTO be beneficial for someone on immunosuppressive medication?
No, NAD+ Phyto raises the immune system.
Is the NAD supplement suitable/helpful for people with stage 3 kidney disease?
Yes, but not if they are on immunosuppressive medication.
May an adult/child with high cholesterol use NAD+Phyto?
The administration of NAD+, has long been known to promote beneficial effects on blood lipid and cholesterol profiles
Will NAD help a person with increased iron levels?
The body has no easy way to dispose of extra iron. The most effective way to get rid of excess iron is through blood loss. Severe iron overload increases mitochondrial dysfunction (NAD restores this dysfunction).
For iron overload:
- Reduce your intake of iron rich foods, such as red meat;
- Donate blood regularly;
- Avoid taking vitamin C with foods that are rich in iron;
- Avoid using iron cookware;
Will NAD+Phyto help as a treatment for alcoholism or other addictions?
NAD+ is very effective in the treatment of addictions from alcohol to cocaine and heroin. It takes away the cravings and promotes the body’s recovery. According to Dr Verwey, people become addicted because they are too tired and want to feel better.
Will NAD+ Phyto help for skin cancer and other skin conditions?
Yes, we have heard various testimonials of skin cancers disappearing after starting use of NAD+Phyto.
How can NAD+ help with MS (Multiple Sclerosis)?
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a type of autoimmune disease where the inner layer of nerve cells is damaged by the immune system. This exacerbated reaction against healthy cells is the underlying cause of autoimmune diseases, including MS, but also Type 1 diabetes, lupus, and rheumatoid arthritis. A team of researchers at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, and Harvard Medical School found a new molecule that can protect against MS. The molecule in question is nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD+), a molecule found in all living cells that has the ability to restore immune homeostasis and induce regeneration of damaged cells, thus reverting disease progression. NAD+ is a universal molecule that can potentially treat not only autoimmune diseases, but other acute or chronic conditions such as allergy, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, sepsis and immunodeficiency.
Why do some people feel tired when using NAD+PHYTO?
The NAD+Phyto composition is to allow the NAD+ to bind as stable as possible to the plants in it.
The first path that NAD+ uses to push NAD+ into the cells and from the plants is the Tryptophan pathway. Some people who are parasympathetically composed will feel an energy drop from Tryptophan and interpret it as “tired”, although there is very little Tryptophan in NAD+Phyto. If this is the case, you have to take all three capsules before bedtime. You can also take a glass of warm milk to sleep better. Your NAD+ levels will still increase when taken at night and you will gradually start to feel more energetic throughout the day.
Can NAD+ cause water retention?
(For example: A client’s feet had swollen tremendously, whereas it previously was swollen just a little) NAD+ cannot cause water retention, but it can shine a light on a problem that’s already there. If something like water retention occurs, it is usually an indication of an unknown underlying problem. NAD+ activates the “car’s dashboard lights” to light up again. The client should visit a doctor for tests to find the reason for the water retention. There may be problems with the person’s kidneys, heart, lungs, hormones or that his/her existing prescription pills aren’t used properly or are too low in strength.
How easily are NAD+Phyto elixir absorbed in the body?
The minute the elixir spray comes in contact with mucosal tissues in the oral cavity it is quickly absorbed. The elixir absorption is much quicker than absorption of NAD+Phyto in capsule form; absorption of the powder by the sputum.
NAD+ as an HIV treatment?
As NAD+ strengthens the immune system, it is also effective in helping HIV patients to have more strength and energy.
Does one dosage suits all?
The answer is definitely no, because we are all uniquely different. One diabetic patient’s insulin requirements would be completely different to other patients. In the same way NAD treatment must be individualized.
By assessing the pyruvate/lactate ratio (with the blood test) the individual deficiency of NAD and inefficiency of mitochondrial function can be measured.
Is NAD safe during pregnancy?
The more NAD a pregnant woman has, the better her genetic hereditary pool becomes. This can result in birthing more energetic children, rather than tired, ADHD children. The children will be much smarter too. However, pregnant women must ALWAYS be tested before starting with NAD+Phyto.
May one use NAD during chemotherapy?
Chemo destroys your NAD+. If a person wants to use NAD then he stops the NAD 4 days before chemo and only starts again 4 days after chemo. The few days’ use of NAD+Phyto in between will help strengthen the person’s immune system for the recovery period. Please do a test before starting to use NAD+.
Can NAD be given safely to someone who gets periodic epileptic seizures?
The Taurine in NAD, helps prevent epileptic seizures
If a person is allergic to Sage and/or Moringa, may they use NAD?
“Sage has powerful anti-cancer effects on breast cancer. It helps with the restriction of estrogen which helps to balance the hormone levels that affect breast tissue.”
“Moringa seed has an anti-proliferative effect on estrogen breast cancer cells. It induces cancer apodosis more effectively ....” Because Moringa is a plant and therefore a phytonutrient, they are called phytoestrogens. That means Moringa is attacking the estrogen positive cancer cells. Both herbs will kill breast cancer cells. The Moringa root kills cancer cells, but has no effect on healthy cells.
Is it safe to take NAD together with blood thinners?
Yes, it is safe
Is NAD+ PHYTO gluten free?
Yes, it is gluten free. (product list)
Why do some people’s NAD levels drop after a few weeks of protocol?
Most people’s numbers drop before they climb. The reason is because the body starts to recover at a cellular level and then functions in the body starts working again that was dormant for a long period, which uses up most of the NAD. Thereafter, functions begin to stabilize and the body recognizes the NAD as something to use.
Basically, it means your cells are waking up and all the supplements that they are now getting are used to energize and restore. Compare it to a car’s dashboard lights that comes on and pulls the flat battery’s last power, but as the battery gets charged more, the engine can later start and thereafter the car can drive again.
The other reason that also leads to lower NAD figures are stress, trauma and being more active with energy increase due to theNAD supplement. It is therefore important to follow the protocol as prescribed in the test results so that you take the right amount at the right times.
Can NAD aggravate pain and swelling?
NAD intake can also aggravate PAIN and SWELLING not only as a DETOX, but as a SERIOUS WARNING to go back to your doctor precisely with these NEW complaints. The reason being that certain cells in your body could have been dormant and now receive energy again to function properly, but something is constricting it. This may be an indication that there is an underlying illness that is surfacing now that would never have come out before it wouldn’t be too late.
If a person has been on NAD+PHYTO for a long time and suddenly starts to get pains and aches again, the reason is possibly because the NAD levels are increasing too fast and the person’s body cannot “cope” with all of the SENSATIONS currently being refreshed. Just reduce the NAD to 1 x NAD+PHYTO per day until the body adapts to its observations and gradually increases again to where the body accepts its new NAD levels again.
Is it better to use a NAD+ IV rather than the NAD+ supplements?
It is not a case of either or, but both. It is impossible to use a NAD IV daily and the body cannot accommodate a NAD IV daily for days, weeks, months and years at end.
Why do the blood test?
If you have no NAD/NADH deficiencies, you will probably not need to use NAD+Phyto at the moment, but with age NAD levels decrease, so prevention is better than cure.
- “nice to know” your levels
- Gives a starting point to begin supplementing according to your body’s needs
- Gives the advancement of your NAD+ levels
- Helps the counsellor to explain current diseases/ailments on low or too high NAD levels
- Client gets a more specific protocol on how to use the NAD+Phyto and when to follow up again
